This is one example of a Natural Balance Heart bar shoe with a leather rim pad that I fabricated for one of my horses that has a pretty severe case of chronic laminitis. The walls of his hoof were breaking up at the ground surface as well. The leather pad and heart bar took care of this little problem and Jake now moves around comfortably in his new kicks.
